A floor plan tells you how big a room is. It doesn’t tell you how it feels: how the afternoon light falls in, how far you can see from the hallway into the kitchen, whether the staircase is cramped or generous. Until now, you only found that out on site.

With 3D cameras from Matterport we capture buildings room by room. The camera measures the geometry while photographing in every direction; many individual positions become one continuous model. On screen you move freely from room to room, look around, go back, view the whole thing from above.

For property, that is more than a gimmick. Prospective buyers and tenants can view a flat, an office or a hall before they make an appointment – and whoever does come already knows the rooms. Property managers, architects and tradespeople have the building documented exactly as it was on the day of the scan.
